Welcome to our office.

You have been referred to this periodontal specialty office because of problems associated with the bone and gums that support your teeth. These problems may be associated with an infection and are best treated by a periodontist. We would be delighted to be your choice for your periodontal care and realize that as a new patient you may have several questions regarding our office procedures and policies.

Personal Background:

Dr. BlueDr. Blue is a native of Lenexa, Kansas. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry and continued his education by completing a two-year residency in Advanced General Dentistry. Dr. Blue practiced general dentistry for two years in Kansas City before entering specialty training in periodontics at UMKC in 1999. He received his specialty certificate in Periodontics in December of 2001. Dr. Blue has been practicing periodontics in the Four Corners Area since February of 2002. In October of 2002, he passed the American Academy of Periodontology Part I Board Exam to become “Board Eligible” for diplomate status in the American Academy of Periodontology.

Practice Philosophy:

The goal of our practice is to help patients achieve healthy bone and gum tissue which will help retain existing teeth, and, to replace missing teeth and bone when appropriate. We will spend time with patients to inform them on their condition or infection so they can be involved in the best treatment choice for themselves. We will treat patients on an individual basis so they feel they have our undivided attention. I will have open communication through conversation, and or correspondence, with your referring dentists to better provide the best comprehensive dental care for you. Following therapy, I plan to share responsibility of periodontal maintenance with you and your restorative dentist. I will dedicate time to provide education for your referring dentists, and will maintain my profession growth through continuing education and reviewing literature.
