Soft Tissue Grafting to Increase Keratinized Tissue

Adequate amounts of keratinized tissue are required for stability of your tooth. Certain types of dental treatment such as orthodontic therapy, crowns, fillings and removal partial dentures require adequate amounts of keratinized tissue. Free Gingival grafts can be done to replace lacking keratinized tissue and may also add thickness to areas of excessively thin tissue.
